Not many small public relations agencies have been around for 35-plus years. Still fewer have retained their very first client over three and a half decades. Miller-Pear has.
Established in 1973 as Trisha Miller Communications, Miller-Pear specializes in entertainment, travel/attraction, retail and consumer product publicity, communications consulting and media spokesperson training. We enjoy an outstanding reputation, including a high level of credibility and respect with the news media. We select our clients very carefully, limit the number of clients we handle, and work very hard for each of them. Rather than expanding staff to accept more work, the intake has been restricted, refining the client load to a small selection of some of the most prestigious public relations accounts available. Most of our work comes through referral, either from the media or existing clients.
The result of our philosophy is that our clients remain with us for unusually long periods of time. While the industry norm is two to three years, the average tenure among current Miller-Pear clients is more than 15 years.
